I went to London in 2009, as some of you know. I created a notebook full of photocopied pages and lists of things I wanted to see and do, and the history behind each one. That notebook is pictured on the home page of this blog. However for my personal thoughts during the trip I bought a Moleskine City Notebook for London.

I guess I channeled my inner five year old – there are stickers applied here and there.

The fold out map of the underground (Mind the Gap!) with a tube station index.

I don’t know why suddenly the notebook appears to be bathed in a yellow light. My camera does that sometimes.

london-ruler

I love this page. It’s so handy to have a ruler.

Every section of the city is mapped, which is so handy to have in your pocket. Here I tabbed the map with our hotel on it, the Luna Simone, and marked it’s location with an x (upper left hand side of the photo). You can check out this wonderful hotel here.

london-street-index

Sometimes I just like reading the street names.
