This summer I met a man at a craft fair who was selling handmade leather journals. I bought four of them, one for me and three for Christmas presents. The man told me he worked for a couple in Calgary who supported a number of families in a small town in India. They make the journals and the Calgary couple, Phil and Natasha, sell them. Check them out here.

And here are the pictures of the journal I kept for myself.

It’s great that you can buy refills for them. It would be interesting to follow the instructions to refill this myself.

Here are a couple more websites that I found promoting Phasha products:

Barton and Leier has great pictures of the journals lined up on shelves.

Enchanted Creations Decor website shows the leather satchels the families also make.

Phasha is a great local company which I am proud to support, knowing I’m also assisting Indian families in their traditional craft. If you choose to support them too you won’t be disappointed.
