The countdown is on and I’m happy to say I’m almost finished my shopping. I’m late this year; I try to finish by Dec 1 so I can just enjoy the busy month but work has been crazy which means lots of weekend work.
Each year I keep a record of what I buy for each person on my list. I keep these lists in a Christmas notebook I picked up a few years ago. I have lists going back to 2004. It helps me keep track of things and past years can inspire this year’s purchases.
It’s a Mary Engelbreit spiral notebook from her Pooch and Sweetheart line.
The pages are lined. The ink is blue. Santa and his reindeer dance on every page.
On a related holiday note, I picked up some “journal pockets” at my local craft store because I was intrigued by the name. I looked them up when I got home. Apparently they are just fancy gift tags. But I love them!
Journal Pockets, designed by Tim Coffey for K&Company.
The four designs.
There is a tag within the tag – for secret journal messages…
Inside tag fully removed. A bonus design!
I will definitely use these tags on my Christmas gifts. At $7 for 8 tags I will reserve them for the special journals I’m giving. The web page above has cheaper prices!
Happy shopping everyone!
