This week I joined the Letter Writers Alliance, a member-based organization dedicated to keeping the art of letter writing alive. The one-time membership fee is only $5.00. They say 85% of their members are in the US but they also say that of the remaining international members, 30% of those are in Canada. 

I love the idea of a Letter Writing Social, along the same lines as I talked about in my post of December 17, 2012: The Regional Assembly of Text and their letter writing evenings. The idea of a Pen Pal Swap is interesting. And those plastic pigeons – too funny! But to be honest it was the LWA badge that convinced me. I was a Brownie and a Girl Guide ya know.
